is this normal with the AC/Heater?

I read the manual and it said that when you set the ac or heater on auto mode, the fan speed and temperature are adjusted automatically... Well my temperature never adjusts automatically... The fan speed adjusts automatically but for a reason the temperature wont...

I mean it could be 10F outside and lets say i have my temperature set at 80F, auto, it would remain at 60F for life. same thing goes for the AC. Who has actually ever seen their temperature go up or down automatically???

thanks for the help

Re: is this normal with the AC/Heater?

The desired temperature reading is controled soley by the driver... The actual interior tempt is maintained that that level by the fan and the heater/AC I'm not sure exactly how it works but the fan will move up and/or down automatically when the interior temprature becomes inconsistent with the desired settings. The heater or AC also pumps either more cold air or hot air to obtain the desired temperature as well.

Do understand also that the reading in your panel is the desired temp and not the actual tem thus it wil never change unless you change it.. The far right gives you the outside temp and not the interior temp thus that will only change if the outside temp changes
