Anyone have creaking driver's seat in 03-04?

I am debating whether or not to waste my time taking my car to the dealer before I hit 60k due to an intermittent creaking of the drivers seat that tends to occur when weight shifts during normal driving. It seems to come from the seat cushion assembly that your butt is actually sitting on.

It almost sounds like the frame of the seating surface is creaking and shifting a bit. The main bolts connecting the seats to the floor are tight.

Because I can't seem to reproduce this phenomenon, any help from people who may have gone through this would be appreciated greatly.

I know I am unlikely to get anywhere with the dealer unless, as usual, I diagnose the problem myself first.

Thanks.

it's the frame.
take it in.
tell them the seat creaks when you go around corners and stop and accelerate.
they'll replace the frame for free under a TSB that was released about this problem.

they did mine, took likea day. got to drive an 07 sedan loaner. Now i'm jealous.

mine does it to. theres a DIY on how to fix it, but they will fix it under warranty. i took mine in out of warranty and they wanted $850 canadian to replace the seat base. i got mad because when i told them under warranty all they did was lube it up and never changed the base as they said they did on the paperwork. i stole their infiniti coffee mug and a sick sugar container and reported them. al my **** was fixed afterwards

Had my frame rail replaced already, and now about 2 years later, the creak is starting to return. Its a common problem, and in some instances the frame rail develops a small crack. Take it in they will know what to do.........

there is a service bulletin on it. but get it fixed before your warranty runs out - out of warranty this TSB costs $900. i'm out of warranty, and decided not to shell out $900 for it - i just crank my music up a bit, and can't hear the creaking anymore.

I had mine fixed 2x already within 20k miles, and taking it again next week for the third...already had the bottom frame and top frame replaced and it is even worse now.

yeah, i've had lots of those 'pesky' type of problems with the G recently. I am so frustrated. Here is a quick list of the problems:
1. Seat squeaks/rocks
2. auto-up window goes all the way up, then comes back down about 4 inches.
3. Passenger seat decides when and if it wants to move forward (i.e. so someone can sit in back)
There are some weird streaks that show up on my windows, no matter how much i clean them. It's as though there is some oil in the door that rubs against the glass everytime it is rolled up or down. =-[
Waa-waa!

Mine only creaks when the seat is as low as it can go with the electric switch, to remedy i lower it fully down then raise it 1 inch and then its fine.

I would love to, but this seems easier said than done. Any suggestions on how to search for such a part online?
