Why give cops a reason to pull you over? Go for looks.

Hardly any of the aftermarket exhausts for the G excede the dB limit...

If the driver can control that itch of having a heavy foot for the gas, then it shouldn't be a problem, even with HFC & headers.

Go with the mods my man, espacially when you are talking small cosmetic upgrades, I think exhaust is a great bang for your buck, really it will turn heads without having to make the car look any drifferent, you cant hear new tail lights or a front bumper coming can you???

Hahahaha...Based on the poll and what all of you are saying, I'm leaning more towards the HKS exhaust.

Is HKS pretty much the exhaust of choice for G35er's? Would I have to get my ECU reprogrammed after putting in the exhaust?

Performance vs Cosmetics.......?

I went with performance on my '04 before I did anything that you might
consider cosmetics with the exception of wheels. Some might consider
wheels performance since they're wider and lighter than the OEM wheels.
Oh yea, I'm on my third exhaust system only because the last one was
a freebee and I can't decide which I like best........

if you really think about it...HKS is both a performance as well as a cosmetic mod. Looks so much better than the OEM exhaust.

If that's the case, then I'm better off sticking with the stock bumper and just adding on mesh.
The Kuruma is already low to begin with. It sits lower than the stock sides. It doesn't matter what you're lowered on, the kuruma will always sit lower than stock sides, unless you modify the kuruma (ie. hacking up) to make it even with the OEM sides. Look up member JohnJayB, he has the Kuruma front with stock sides.
