FINALLY get to change my sig!

My Black/Willow 6MT coupe finally arrived by truck from Grubbs yesterday!

I've been down for the count with the flu, but the car arrived absolutely filthy, so I just had to wash it (and no, there was no damage to the car during the shipping).

And, of course, you have to test drive it....

This car is awesome!

7 days door to door, btw.

Re: FINALLY get to change my sig!

Hey Intruder.....where do you live? I just ordered from Grubbs and was debating having them ship it for free or trying to get the cash instead and fly down to pick it up. I'm in NC so I'd get my 1200 mile break it out immediately. I think they said 7-10 days depending on the truckers schedule.

Also, was the car protected with those stick on plastic pieces or anything?

Thanks

Re: FINALLY get to change my sig!

G35C2B,
I'm out in Tucson, AZ (almost as far from NC as you can get!). They told me 10-12 days, but it took 7 total.

Unfortunately, the car was not protected, at least not when it got to me. I was a bit worried about that, but it looks like everything arrived okay.

Picking it up would be fun, I'm sure, but tough to keep to the break-in schedule!

Thanks, all. I'm glad the wait is over!

Re: FINALLY get to change my sig!

My problem is I live 5 miles from work now and don't drive much outside of that since our family car is the one getting all the miles. If I stuck to my current driving rate it would be 6 months for me to get through the break in period...I can't deal with that!! I'd rather have a "leisurely" cruise back over the 1200 miles to get accustomed to the car and break it in quickly then be able to get it on as soon as I come home. Besides with the few miles I put on cars its not going to be killing my mileage like some of you folks.

Anyway, its all good!!
