I just got my 03 G35 coupe today and I don't know what I want to do to it. It's an automatic so I decided to make it a sweet ride instead of making it super fast. My plans so far are to get a radar detector, a sound system, and to lower it. I'm gonna get new wheels for it next summer. It already has clear corners, tinted windows, navigation and a carbon fibre hood. I just swapped the stock 03 headlights for stock 06 ones. What else can I do to it?

 

what color is it? wheels are an obvious first choice for looks. body kit. paint the roof black. overlays if you'd like. paint the headlight housings black. exhaust. check out the gallery.

Exhaust, CAI, spacer,Ground wiring,strut bar,sway bar,double din, rear camera,headers,carbon fiber cover,battery cover left side, foot pedal,Valentine radar with hidden connector,skyline logo, skyline side step, nissan logo on the airbag, front grill, you can do alot of stuff if you have funds.

 

how much are u putting on the sound system? if you could, put the money into the rims first. then do the sound system next summer. it takes quite some money to get good sound out of the car, so do rims first. you'll be EXTREMELY happy

 

it's silver in color. i dont know if i wanna put that much into performance parts. probably just wanna add intake and leave it as is. i got a good deal on a $2500 sound system and so i put that on first (haven't changed the speakers/components yet.. gonna do that after a few other things). the summer's almost over so i don't wanna buy rims until next summer and plus i have the stock chrome rims so they aren't horrid or anything. i was thinking of painting the roof black but i'm a bit unsure of it.

and i don't think i wanna make my g a ricer and add lips or anything and change decals/badges. don't wanna be like every other ricer that lives in my area. i'm getting the cobra xrs-r9g for radar. then after that i'll get an in-dash touch screen dvd player. i REALLY like the tokyo blue interior lighting that Deftronix did. i thought that looked really sick.

am i forgetting anything?

 

You could put on an OEM lip if you dont have one, debadge the car. If you dont want to put out a ton of cash on rims look in the marketplace for some good deals.
