I am so angry right now, I won't comment till later. Below is the email trail/history for my simple order of a "SKYLINE" emblem and Coupe Clear Corners. Many emails and phonecalls which started Dec 17th, I received my order on January 13th....

I had to track the package down after many days of waiting and phone calls, found out Purolator claimed they tried calling me at the phone number “provided” by Courtesy Nissan (which wasn’t even close). On top of the box, was the invoice with the exact total/prices! They had repeatedly and emphatically agreed to mark as “Gift” when I ASKED them, not told them to. Next to that is a nice sticker by Customs, advising me I "might" receive an invoice for taxes and etc. Guess what I got in the mail today?

Dear Ray,

Sorry, parts were shipped on Dec 31 by USPS #EC106039356 US Inv# 513023 and should be to you in any day now

Hi Rodger,

I paid on December 30th over Paypal after phoning in and finding out that day that I had waited 4 days because someone had spelled my email address wrong for the Paypal payment request. I realize there have been holidays and human error is a fact of life but if you check our correspondence, my original request for shipping estimate was dated December 17th....

I was told over phone that I would receive an order/shipping confirmation by January 2nd evening. Today is end of January 6th with no email received so far. Please confirm my shipment has gone out and provide a tracking number.

My car is fairly stock right now with many items I would like to change but I am hesitant to order anything bigger or further with the complications that have arisen thus far for an emblem and a set of clear corners.

Sincerely,
Ray

Dear Courtesy Nissan,

I'm really disappointed that noone at your department bothers to read my emails. In my original email, I'm asking for quotes on shipping charges and if it's possible to ship any other methods, specially to avoid being hit hard by customs and taxes entering Canada.

I provided a full address so that you would be able to give me a quote for shipping on the items in question. If these emails are indicative of your attention to detail and customer service (also takes 2-3 days before I get replies), I gather my business isn't needed by your company.

I talked to someone at your 1-800# and he mentioned that I could get it shipped cheapest way via USPS for around $15? Please let me know as there is no option from your website to choose any other shipping methods other than the USPS Global Express Mail (EMS)/Insured at $29.50 (too expensive). Also I'd like the package marked as a
gift for value before shipping. Canada Customs charges insane taxes and duties, especially if shipped through UPS. Please email me back and I'll provide you with my Paypal or credit card information for payment. I would need it shipped to #my address (edited).

End Quote "

Happy holidays,
Ray

Here's pictures. I gave them so many chances, politely asking them to get it right.

Re: Courtesy Nissan

Man sorry to hear about your troubles in getting a few parts from the US. I bought my clear corners from courtesy and had no problems what so ever with those guys. My order was processed and delivered within like 5 days.

Have they agreed to pick up the bill for the tarifs? That would be the right thing to do, since they said they would mark the package as a gift, even though that's bending the rules.

Keep us posted....

Re: Courtesy Nissan

Sorry to hear that. They should pay the extra $19.27 for all the hassle but I doubt it will ever happen. I ordered my clear corners from Courtesy. Same as ducatiguy about 5 days later I got them, no problems. It will be worth it when you see how nice the clear corners look on your G.

Re: Courtesy Nissan

I ordered my clear corners from them back in august, I believe the same day I ordered my coupe. The web page indicated that they were on back order and the approximate delivery date would be a month later late September. Well September came and left and it was now early October and nothing. So I give them a call and they say that there was a problem of some sort and delivery may not be until January. So I asked them to cancel my order and refund my money, which they did promptly with out any hassle or problems. I can understand having shipping problems but some information would of been nice. Based upon how nice they were and how they immediately refunded my payment through pay pal I would probably shop with them again in the future.
