Ugly though they be....those little round or rectangular convex mirrors will help. I'm three days into my 07 coupe, and will definitely get one like I had on my last car (Gen One Talon). By the way....are my side mirrors supposed to be linked to driver seat memory settings?

Cheers!

Looks good. Do those fit on Gs too? Not sure if G side mirrors are the same as Z sides.
Edit: nvm, I see their note about G35.

My previous car was a 350z roadster and with the top up you could not see anything behind you. Very hard backing up at times in a busy parking lot.

Driving my new G coupe I feel like I can see everything now.

they work great. It took my eyes a bit to adjust...every time I looked at them my eyes would hurt for some reason and it would be blurry so I had to look at them from the corner of my eye...but, now that my eyes have adjusted, they work really well!

Yeah.. I almost wrecked my G the first week by almost sideswiping a car getting on the freeway. I checked both my mirrors and turned my head.. and still didn't see the car. I think i've solved the problem by positioning the side mirror out more.. usually I can see a little bit of my car in the side mirror on other cars... on my G i rotate the mirror wayyy out. It still requires you to look over your shoulder but I do that anyways.

This is the proper way to eliminate blind spots. You don't need overlap with your rear-view mirrors:

http://www.autopia-carcare.com/blind-spot-mirror.html

"Most people adjust their side view mirrors so they can see the side of the car on the inside edge of the mirror. This is incorrect. You know where the side of your car is, so why do you need to see it? Pulling the side view mirrors in too far limits your rear visibility and greatly overlaps what you can see through your rear view mirror.

The proper setting for side view mirrors is to adjust them slightly beyond the point where you can see the side of the car on the inside edge of the mirror. Positioned in this way, you can see more and remove one of the critical blind spots.

Where there is a vehicle present that isn't visible when checking the side view mirrors, the front of neighboring vehicle will likely be adjacent to your door. If you have a good rear view mirror or good peripheral vision, you’ll be able to spot it. If not, you will need to turn your head to the side or get a blind spot mirror."
