Never thought much about gas mileage until....

I had a Mercury Milan rental while my car is in the shop.

I swear, for the first three days I thought the gas gauge was broken because it didn't seem to move one bit!!!

The only thing nice about the Milan is that I use about half of the gas!

After having my G a month now, I have only been getting 17 in the city and have not done much Hwy travel.

It suprised me the mpg is not better, the 350z I traded would get 20 mpg in the city, but it was a manual though.

If you add a K&N filter or another intake does that help the mpg?
