TINT interfering with NAVI?

Avoid it and get ceramic tint.

To put it simply... Even if you tinted your windows with metal foil, it won't completely block signals into your car, becuase among other things, the doors are not properly grounded/shielded becuause of the rubber weather stripping, so RF can easily enter the car that way. None of the wires going through the firewall from the engine compartment are isolated with fiber-optics, so the copper wires will carry RF signals into the car....
One time at work, a contractor messed up the network install, and didn't isolate the network drops with fiber... He just ran a single ethernet cable into the faraday cage....
The faraday cage has a huge grounded/shielded door, and metal walls, etc, etc... Needless to say, I was still able to use my cell phone when I locked myself in the cage... When I got them to fix the network cable, as soon as I shut the door, my cell phone signal went to zero.
Anyways, I have have metallic tints all around on all my cars, and the Navi works just fine in all of them.
If you are having issues you have other problems going on.
