i have o6 g35 coup and have factory xm radio and i was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get sirius radio using the xm antena and the stock radio. Ive heard of it done on chevy cars and ford cars but nothing about infiniti.

 

You may be able to use the same antenna, but i'd imagine a different tuner would be necessary.

Or you could wait till the merger is approved/completed

 

You can use the same antenna, but you have to get a Sirius tuner. I know this for a fact becuase one of my friends drive an Altima and it came equipped with XM and all she did was swap out the tuner and it worked perfectly.

 

The antenna will work but it will need 1 small modification. Where it plugs into the tuner are 3 ribs. ! is in a different place from XM to Sirius. Take a razor blade & trim the different rib & you're good to go. I've probably done 50-75 of them & it's no big deal.
