Installed Nismo Exhaust & RT Cats!
WOW, WOW, WOW!! Did I say WOW! My car sounds awesome!
First let me thank Jason @ Performancenissanparts.com for going above and beyond the call to get me these parts in time for my installation appt. He more than took care of me and I recommend him for any performance parts you need. When you deal with suppliers (as I do in my work) it's so refreshing to deal with someone who keeps his word.
Ok for the new Nismo & Cats, the sound is very aggressive. I'm 37 married w/kid and have never had a car with an aftermarket performance exhaust so that will tell you my perspective. When I first started it up, my mouth dropped. It does sound something like an Italian exotic and slightly raspy. It is louder than I expected and I will be more conscious when driving in my neighborhood to keep the rpms down. It is loud enough at WOT that it creates a few slight rattles around my rear deck(not sure if it's the window). My dealer has heard and installed the Borla and said the Nismo has a more agressive sound.
The performance has definitely improved. I don't have access to a dyno in my area but from what I can feel it's dramatically different. It pulls so much harder. My butt dyno tells me at least 15hp!!
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I just need to get used (and my neighbors) to the aggressive sound. If you're looking for looking for a dramatic performance increase & exotic exhaust sound, you can't go wrong with Nismo & RT Cats.

Wow.. Congrats bro ! You just made me one jealous **** ! Heh.. If you dont mind, I would like to ask how much yyou paid for that exhaust? I am thinking about either the Borla or the Nismo.. but I dont think i can afford to pay 500 more for the Nismo.... ANy thoughts ? PICS PLEASE !

What I've been told is that Nismo has a much better build quality than the Borla. My Infiniti service dept. confirmed this. They've installed several Borla exhausts and were very impressed with the Nismo.
You can get the Nismo for $899.95 from Jason performancenissanparts.com. Isn't the Borla at least $600 - $700.00?
