Covered by warrenty??
Covered by warrenty??
My headlight cases are fogging and getting a smoke like look due to the heat from the engine bay.. Would I be able to argue manufacturer defect and get it covered by the warrenty? Has this happened to anyone? I'm in a '04 coupe...
I went in for service once and tried to get them replaced at the same time. They just buffed them with 3M Plastic Polish which worked well but I had to polish them every couple weeks. Finally the chrome plastic housing inside cracked on both...... they then replaced them.
Easy way to find out........!
Spend the extra cash to have the dealership change your oil/filter and just
mention the headlight issue. If your still under warranty they should cover it.
Make sure you are dealing with the service manager not some pencil pusher
that wishes he was.
