*** I know you all like teh wreckage pics......***

So here are some pics of my totalled G Fortunately, I was able to find another one exactly like it to buy. Should be finallizing the deal today or tomorrow. It still makes me sad looking at it.....

The wifey was turning at a light (green arrow), and creamed by a truck. It sucks because we had JUST got the car in April for a HELL of a deal (23K +TTT) since she worked at the lot. Now, finding one just like it has been a PITA, but we managed to, and we're getting it for $30K shipped to Hawaii with 10K less miles, and a nicer grill

Without further ado....here are the pics of our totalled baby

Yeah, she was just a little shaken up. She's good now. She works at the lot though, where it's stored right now, and says she gets sad every day because she has to see it.

No we don't Ready.......!

It makes my skin crawl to see one of our cars damaged, mainly because I've
spent soooo many hours taking care of mine. You've got to consider your wife
very lucky she was hit on the passanger side rather than the drivers. I hope
she wasn't injured at all!! Didn't you post something about her being at fault
because of the green arrow or something? So you guys are moving to the
islands? Thanks for posting those ugly pic.......

lol.....yeah, they are rather ugly. It makes the car look like some sort of robot, lol.

Right now, they are conisidering it her fault for "failing to yield" according to the police, who never took her report, but took the other guys. She was the second car in line, turning left on a green arrow, not just a green light. The other guy was coming from the other direction and apparently ran the red light. No witnesses or traffic cameras, so it's her word against his....guess who they believe. Insurance is doing their own investigation though, and they are great. USAA is one of the best insurance providers I have ever used.

And no, she wasn't injured. Just some minor glass scrapes. But even so, look how well the inside of the door held up....not too shabby considering. Even though the door fell completely off, I think a passenger would have been ok in this one.

Actually, I'm going to try and keep it if the car hasn't been towed already.

Well, I actually never said that....and I'm glad you reminded me. Gotta call the wifey today and have her go check and have em pull it if they can. Considering we are getting another one in SS, it would be a waste not to take this with us

teh new one

Yeah, me too. We were just getting used to the thing....well, she was. I got to drive it for 2 weeks while I was back in the states...but I still liked the fact that we had it. Definately have to get another one I already have parts that I bought to put on this one, and they need something to go on

The door was slammed into it. The door fell completely off at the scene. It's just sitting there in the pics. ( I am referring to the glove box area)

If you mean the center console, where the shifter surround is lifted, that was from my wife removing her ipod dock afterwards.
