Has anyone on this forum converted their rwd coupes to awd? I went to a 350z meet and a guy there converted his 350z to awd. Sounds like an interesting project.

alrighty, so heres the deal, i know both of them, the owner of the car, and the owner of function tuned......that is the only awd 350z on the east coast.......and it has a switch in it, where he can go from awd, to fwd, to even Front wheel drive.......he took the setup out of a 2003 g35x......the whole front of the car had to be moved foward so he could fit the awd transfer case, and all the front wheel drive stuff......the car is an automatic, which will be soon converted to a 6 mt....... and let me tell you all 2 things, one the car leaves off the line hard!!!!! and 2 it was alot of time and money to make that thing work!!!!!

yes i meant awd to rwd to fwd!!!!!! all with-in seconds

 

no desire to turn it into AWD i had FWD forever know i have RWD and love it so far.

Or you could wait for the Skyline since its gonna cost you the same amount to buy that thing as it will to keep your g and modify it to AWD But you would be the first G35 with AWD...

 

Lucky for me... I'm very interested...

 

A. We all drive RHD skylines, so I'm not sure what you'd be waiting for.
B. It's never going to happen

It would be nice, but as others have said it will cost a lot, and if you want to know how much then you probably can't afford it.

 

ya there was another 350z that was on the cover of super street that was awd also
