350 per tank or better for normal everyday driving, over 400 on highway trips... 6MT is the way to go

I'm barely beating your mpg, but I drive mostly on the freeways. And I have a manual too...

I have a 06 6MT and get high 19's. If you are doing a lot of short trips that will kill your mileage. BTW I was looking at a new house and wanted to see what driving from it to the city would be like. 35 miles trip with 30 of it being highway the last 5 miles into the city was stop and go. I reset my mpg counter before starting the trip. I got 25 mpg most of the highway was at 80mph and at points I was hitting 90.

Even thought this car was rated the same as my wife's minivan in actual driving the G35 gets much better gas mileage.

If you want really good mileage then go get a Civic.

2005 6MT:

20 mpg City, 30 mpg highway. 2 return trips Ottawa Canada to Charlotte, NC gave me 30mpg. Heavy right foot around town gives me 20!

200 to 400 miles per gallon in this thread - now that's a spread! I don't understand how it's possible that some of you are getting 200-220 miles per gallon. Somethings not right there, I'm not believing you guys are getting 10-12 mpg with this car no matter how you are driving. When you guys are measuring this, how many gallons are you really putting in to "fill" up. Can't be more than 16 gallons, can it? I filled up 20 minutes ago for the very first time - 245 miles and I had a more than a third of a tank left and I thought that was bad. I put in 11.76 gallons.
