Question Newbie here

Hey guys, I'm new . About to get a G35 coupe, trading my A-Spec TL in for it. I had a question though, does anyone know what exhaust setup this is?

Well that it does, and it says G35driver.com on the plate so I'm guessing it's someone on here. I was just wondering, besides true dual, what kind of mufflers, any resonators/etc etc they are running. Listening to the sound of that thing, I'm guessing he should be known here?

It's not HKS (surprise!!!!)

in that LOOOOOONG post the guy said he got the tips (I assume mufflers) off e-bay for $60 for BOTH, then paid 310 for all the piping and the work to put it together. I checked on e-bay and there are a TON of mufflers for $20-$30 a piece. I think he got lucky with it sounding as good as it does, wonder how long those tips will hold up...

I considered doing this for about 2.65 seconds... then I figured I'm not driving a Honda anymore, I'm rolling an Infiniti.... and I could probably afford to get an exhaust that I know has been dyno tested and I'm not rolling the dice on losing power.

But that's just my take on it. Doesn't sound bad for what it is. He said he had cutouts before, so I imagine anything's an improvement over that.

*heads off to listed to soundclips of stillen and nismo on the 350 forums...*

I love the way my Stillen TD sounds...more than I wanted to pay (1200 for a few pipes, mufflers, and nice tips seems excessive). But it is a much better sound vs. the stock...and no rasp or fartcan sounds!

Coolness.

Yeah, if I wanted rasp, I'd fire up my racecar. 580whp Prelude on an open downpipe sounds nasty. Mean, but nasty.

I'm basically looking for the same stock sound, only louder. I can't wait to get a spacer and intake.
