i got a quick question i just got my g35 coupe about 3 days ago its a 2003 and it has 44k on it i still have the power train warranty till 2010 , i rode the car about 300 miles already in about 2 days and everything seems not like beside the slight vibration on the shifter which is normal , is it worth it to the the ELITE extended warranty for 2500 dollers thats how much the dealer wanted to charge me , his like it covers like all electrical and its good u need it hes like u if u want to get it its kno or never so im like a college student and iam broke , so i just wanna know is it worth it he told he i have 30 days to sign up for it , but i had a slight feeling he was bull****ing me i got the car from the infinity dealer , so just let me know if its worth it thanks every one

By the way, I wasn't making fun of you. We're not the English police... I just seriously can't understand what you're trying to say.

So do you just not type well, are you illiterate, or is English your fourth language?

I'm really not trying to pick on you, but people who take the time to type properly will get help much more quickly. Ghetto slang, m4d haxx0r, 12 year old AOL speak is just ignorant. Try using MS Word then copy and pasting your responses here. Because if you really talk like this in person, no wonder the dealer was trying to take advantage of you.

Best of luck with your warranty question.

Dude I've heard that Riverside Infiniti sells the elite warranty at a discounted price, try them.

Also I don't care what language you speak please spell the name brand of the car correctly.

Well, I for one am not the English police either but it does bother me when people come on here asking for help and type like they are on AIM. I mean, hell, how lazy can you be by omitting one or two letters and replacing the remaining two letters with other letters for an entire word? (i.e. it isn't “UR”, it is your, you're or You are) and it isn't "U", it is YOU. There are so many other examples of this (which reminds me of that Cingular or Verizon commercial) but I'm not going to get into all of it here. I swear, today youths (and “not ‘N’" some older folks) are so lazy. Yes, back in the days of IRC we had to type like that (yes, we IRC users are partially to be blamed for this ) since the screen is moving and you had 20 other users in one window/board but not on a forum or email...Anywho, I'm rambling....
I think the original poster was trying to ask:
Hi Fellow G35 Coupe owners! I just recently purchased a used 2003 InfinitI G35 Coupe. It came with 44,000 miles and should still have the remaining power train warranty up until 2010. I already drove the car for 300 miles in little over 2 days and everything seems fine besides a slight vibration from the shifter (which I believe is normal). So, my question is, the Dealer wanted to charge me $2,500 for an extened warranty (Elite Warranty they called it), which is nice since it covers even electrical problems, should it arise. I'm a college student that is on a very tight budget so I was wondering if it is worth getting this Elite Extended Warranty? The Dealership also mentioned that I have 30 days grace period to sign up for this warranty. Is this 30 days grace period that the Dealership telling me entirely true or are they making a false statement to the contrary? Please let me know what you fellow G members think and thanks in advance for any help!

Outstanding. Both parts, the rant, and the translation.

The answer to his question, then, is this:
I personally wouldn't bother with an extended warranty for $2500. I know lots of guys who bought it, and just don't use it. Powertrain covers the expensive part on the 03's, such as transmission etc., I'd worry about your CD player though, but you'll probably replace it anyway.

Save the $2500 and take advantage of some DIY fixes if anything comes up and I think you'll be more than fine, you'd have to run into a lot of problems to make that $2500 back as long as you treat your car well.
