Re: My G

I'd really like to put a different set of rims on it but I can't seem to find a set that I like. I was thinking about those nismo wheels

Re: My G

I think the best rims for a G are the GFG - 5's (19 or 20 inch)
Look online for a sample......they are hot

Re: My G

Re: My G

the fogs are Mtek H4 4350's..my son loves it, its more than enough room for him back there. In a couple of weeks I'm probably going to put some monitors back there for him on long trips. Thursday I'm going to get 35% tint

Re: My G

just like mine. To elimate swirls, dont wash the car in a circular motion. windshield to bumper and floor to roof rinsing the mit often. Preferrably 2 mits one for the lower portion and one for the hood roof and trunk.

Lotsa wax will look after that for you, and be sure again .. no circular motions.

later man.

Re: My G

A pop charger is the blue filter setup that he has in the engine bay... The real name is JWT Pop Charger... It runs about $120 and in combination with the Z-tube the whole setup runs just over $200. This is a cheaper and easier alternative to any CAI (cold air intake)... However, probably not as effective in terms of the true HP gain. There are many posts on this Pop Charger, so I am not going to go into it anymore. I have it and totally love it!

Mods:
Aluminum racing pedals
JWT Pop Charger / Z-tube Combo

Re: My G

DallyCurtis is right on. No circular motions. and lots of wax will help hide the swirls. For black, fdefinitely get you a buffer. when using the buffer, use extra extra padding. When drying use a chamoise with very light pressure on the paint. If you are willing to pay the money, get you a high pressure air blower. The dealership washes the car when you take it in for service, they probrably put the swirls on it. I always request them not to wash it.
