Re: HELP! dealer messed up front bumper

The 4x3 hole is normal, there should be a plastic cover somewhere for it, check your glove box. This is where a tow truck will hook up to your car and pull it onto the flatbed. This should have been explained by the dealer.

I asked that the front license frame not be put on my car. When I picked it up, it was screwed onto the bumper. That's the original way to put it on. Search the site, some people have made additional brackets that attach to the tow point. The dealer replaced my bumper after an unsuccesful attempt at repairing the screw holes.

Re: HELP! dealer messed up front bumper

They didn't break your car, other than the screw holes, and some dealers have to put front tag holder on.

I has lucky in that I live in a front tag state and they didn't install it. I'm going to go the route of making my own front braket.
