Bought a Brand new 07 G35 6mt coupe

Like the title says "BRAND NEW". (not a lease)

Its a Diamond Graphite on Graphite.

I got a great deal on it too.
Here's the breakdown.

07 G35 6mt coupe
premium package
painted splash guards
trunk mat
(no navi)
I got it for $32,752.62 (Invoice is $34,702)

Document Prep Fee = $55.00

Sales Tax (L.A. County, CA 8.25%) = $2,706.63

Registration/Title fee = $265.00

California Tire fee = $8.75

Smog Abatement fee = $12.00

TOTAL OUT THE DOOR = $35,800.00

I got it for $2000 below invoice.
This is a really nice G.

It had 11 miles on the clock when I saw it
and only 13 miles on it when I drove off the lot.

I had a really great salesman.
I did my homework for a couple of months and recieved some great quotes.
But this salesman worked with me to get me in the G that I wanted at the price that I wanted to pay.
He wanted my business and he let me know it.
The negotiating was smooth and hassle free. It took less than 1 hr of negotiating.
Believe it.
I was even talking with another salesman on my cell phone from another dealership right in front of this guy.

The salesman is Robert Meyers at Metro Infiniti in Monrovia, Southern California.
He was a great guy and a real pleasure to do business with.
I highly recommend him. His cell is 626-483-0293
Oh, and he came and picked me up at my house so I could pick up my new G.

The car is fantastic. I set the rev indicator at 3,500 rpm and it starts flashing at 3,000 rpm.
I will follow the breakin period as outlined in the owners manual.
I don't want to fall victim to the dreaded "oil consumption problems".
The steering is very responsive. It's a big change from my Honda, Accord.

I have the compass now set for my zone (#2).
The seat memory #1 & #2 set now.
I turned off the chirp when activating the door lock/security feature.
I always park away from other cars in parking lots. Hahahahahahaha

Life is Good!!

What are your monthly payments coming out to and did you finance your car? If so, what apr and term did you qualify for? Congratulations on your new ride. Enjoy it.

Yes, I did finance it.
I went thru my credit union though.

Breakdown:

down payment: $20,000
annual Percentage rate: 6.74%
amount financed: $15,800
Duration: 72 months
payment per month: $267.47

(my credit score is 697)

Metro Infiniti offered me the same annual percentage rate if I financed
through them, but my credit union will automatically take the payment from my checking account. So now I don't need to be hassled with mailing in a check or worry about being late on a payment or the dreaded snail mail (usps) delivering on time.

I will however make larger payments to pay off the loan quicker.
but it is nice to have such a low monthly payment. TEEHEEHEE

Damn you. I just got the exact same car last month with an employee discount (2k below) for 37k out the door at the same dealership! My apr is at 1.9, so it might average out to what u got, but still... Are they offering better deals now that the g37 is coming out?

Congrats man. Almost 36k out the door? That sounds average to me. My G was 39k out the door last Nov. But I bought it with everything. Navi, Premium, RAS, splash, trunk mat, etc etc. 3.95apr downed 11 grand.

We are fortunate to have been able to purchase one of these G35's with
the color and options that we wanted.
They are going quick.
I wanted to wait until September to see if infiniti would offer any incentives and the low apr again. But I wasn't willing to take a chance on having the car with the options that I wanted all sold out.
You may have paid a little more than I did, but if push came to shove, I would have paid the $37,000 OTD too.
