I don't use it for anything. I guess it might be good for holding speeding tickets!

When I go into a garage where I get a ticket, when I have a letter to mail, when I have a shopping list, when I pick up dry cleaning stubs, etc. Just stuff that I won't forget about when I stick it there.

It's not even useful for parking lot tickets, because you generally have to take those with you to get them validated.

Of note, though, is that you can purchase an extra grab handle and swap the card holder out with the handle. I think someone's posted instructions around here somewhere.

When I first Picked up my coupe and then promptly got a ticket afterwards (Cop gave me and the new car a break and made it a seatbelt ticket instead of a 90 in a 65 ticket). I used it to hold the ticket. Then when showing off the new ride I pointed out the card holder and how well it held my first ticket :-)

It's useful if you travel on toll roads, you can put the toll ticket in there. I've also used it for parking garage tickets, sometimes you pay for event parking and it doesn't need to be validated.

I put my original road side assistance card in the one over the driver door. I use the one over the right sun visor to store my registration.

Thank you for bringing this up. I didn't even know the damn thing was there until it started "rattling." Yes! More rattles! More like a mosquito buzzing in my left year the entire time I'm driving. I'm "this close" to ripping the damn thing out.

It's good for gas cards (passes), toll or parking cards, entry cards, insurance cards, roadside assistance card, etc. Only problem is you often don't want those things in plain sight. The one under the passenger visor works better. So yeah, pretty useless yet again.

I did see a mod out there to install a grab handle, but even that seems useless to me.

Either way though, better to have an option you never use than nothing. Right?

Re: What do you use your.......

I tried using the cardholder a few times when I parked in a parking structure with tickets but each time(after trying to look for parking for over 15 minutes) I forgot about the ticket and came back having to pay a couple bucks each time so I stopped even trying to use the stupid cardholder. Now, the ticket goes straight into my pocket.

I just realized how long that first sentence was...man I need to go back to school.

There is a great DIY inthe FAQ section called "G35 grab handle install". Here's the link: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/tyanno...rab_handle.htm
