StrictlyZ Fr. Lic. Plate Holder Read This.

Before. Sorry but can't live with this. Can't get a pic to download but you guys know what it looks like, a gaping hole. No cover.

After. Now I can live with this. If anybody needs info on how to do it. I'll post a reply. End product finshed with everything including a smoked cover looks great.

Yes, don't tease us with that. I just received my StrictlyZ bracket and my license plates. SHOW ME! Please. Does it involve cutting a hole in the tow hook cover?

Do you guys really need a "How To" on cutting a circular hole in a small piece of plastic??

corner to corner draw a scribe line but only about where the marks will intersect. this will give you the exact center. now with something sharp make your center mark. now i didn't drill the hole but i'm sure you could. i used back of dial calipers, very sharp and very clean. almost like using a compass with a knife. hole is .750 or 3/4. caliper set at .375 or 3/8. perfect hole, perfect fit. but im sure fluffydot already new that.

great job....one quick question
can you buy a second cover from infiniti just in case you want to go plateless for a day or show or something....I wouldn't want to have the large hole if this was the case...also does any one know if a replacement cover is already factory painted to match or would you have to have it painted???
thanks....20ld4this

Hogger453,
Once the license plate is on, can you see the bumper cover? In other words, can I remove the bumper cover and leave it off while I have a front plate on? Will the lack of a bumper cover be that noticeable?

Re: StrictlyZ Fr. Lic. Plate Holder Read This.

It's really not noticible unless you look right on top but that wasn't my real reason. The reason was that rain, dirt will get in there. Why have a pound of dirt after a couple of months when you can avoid it. Just after a couple of days there was already some dirt build-up. Oh by the way if you guys go this route you will have to do this on the painted surface, no way to get accurate center unless you do it on the painted surface. A new tow hook cover from Infinti is about $16.00, unpainted. Don't need to go that route if your carefull.
