Solved my rattle trap (figure this one out)
1) My seat was squeeking like a bitch, so I raised it as high as possible, 12/14mm socket to the back 2 bolts, re-adjusted the seats (by pulling it more towards the door), and bang, no more problems with my seat (apparently a common problem/fix)
2) (Figure this one out) I kept hearing a squeek coming from my driver side fender. After almost 1yr I finally figured it out - my (stock) hood was rubbing a hole in my air conditioner line! It's literally frayed right through (and where the hood is making contact, the paint on the underside is worn off). So I took some high temp. exhaust tape and wrapped up my air conditioner line where the hole is, making a HUGE bundle from the tape (to act as a pad). Bam, no more squeeking.
Has anybody ever heard of a stock hood (w/ stock airbox) rubbing a hole through the air conditioner line???? I've heard of the line getting frayed with aftermarket air boxes if it isn't secured properly, but stock, WTF?
