Mud Flaps.. Yey or Ney?

I was thinking of getting mudflaps for my g35.. can someone post a pic of a G w/ Mudflaps.. also, how much did you guys pay for em, if you didn't get em with the car in the first place. I went to the dealer today and he said 170 for all four. Also, how hard are they to install.
Thanks

Yey! The car looks so much better with the splash guards. Looks more complete. install was simple, just some drilling and cleaning required.

That price seems too high for the splash guards. I remember them being about $85 for all four. (Grubbs Infiniti - Dallas area)

I just put splash guards on mine. You can get them from grubbs for $75 a pair. Or tell your dealer about that price and they'll probably match it, mine did.

The hardest part of the install was having to jack each corner so I could fit my drill under the car.

If your in the Atlanta area, you could come to the meet on the 7th at Andretti Speed Lab and I'll help you do it.

A definite Yey. Easily installed and not expensive. Here's mine --

yey. looks great with the car...every one thinks i put on side skirts or a mini-bodykit. they're definitely worth the money....a lot of guck gets on there when raining, so it definitely does its job.

It really flows with the car. Lower car's look in my opinion. I really got ripped off on mine. A $200 dollar option at the dealer. ACK! I didn't know of this forum then.

Not for me. I don't think they flow evenly with the car- looks too much liek an add on. I like everything to look and flow smoothly. I'm not knocking them- they do look nice- but like I said- not for me. I prefer the well rounded stock look.

I don't like them either. Especially when viewed from the back. I prefer the smooth lines without the tacked-on look of the mudflaps.

Re: Mud Flaps.. Yey or Ney?

I like 'em. No rock chips and I think they look alright on my black coupe.
Please don't call them mud flaps, lol, it makes me think of the rally cars setup for gravel roads with high ride height and big dangling flaps.
