Re: Finally got my ride hooked up.

How did the exhaust line up? Any fitment issues? Are your tips straight and level? Some people have e-mailed me telling me their tips arent level, so I explained how its an easy fix. Take some pics from the rear, I have yet to have any fellow Fuji pwner to compare mine with . . .

Ducatiguy,

Tips are straight and even. I initially had a problem with the midpipe hitting a support brace which would cause some vibration while driving, but a shim was installed it clears without a problem.

Shot of engine.

19/245/35 in front and 19/275/35 in the rear.

Not sure if they look small because the pics were shot at night or not, but I have heard that darker wheels look smaller than bright wheels.

In person they look nice IMO, and pretty everywhere I stop people are asking me about them.

I'll try to snap a couple more photos when it's light out.

Ouch.

Mine are $795 including tax. Still, looks like you were prepared to go "whole enchilada" - Sounds like it's gonna be a nice ride.

Re: Finally got my ride hooked up.

Ducatiguy,

As far as the plenum goes, I ordered it from Grubbs with the polished plenum, so don't have any experience driving without it! All in all the performance is great with the mods I have done so far.

I had the Random tech cats on for 1 day, but between 2k-4k RPM the exhaust got REALLY loud and I was forced to take them off the next day due to the wife complaining .

I'm trying to concentrate on mods that will maintain/add to the low end torque while adding HP, without making the car sound like a dragster.

Still debating whether I should get the JWT pop charger.

AZhitman,

WOW, that is a super price for the Nismo headers. Where did you pick them up?

Thanks,

Re: Finally got my ride hooked up.

I really liked the look of my cousin's Skyline 350GT in Japan. He has the same car(only white) and rims, but in Bronze. I wanted a light wheel that had that tuner feel to it.

I have seen alot of people with 20s and others with bling bling 4" lip wheels, but they are just not my thing. To each his own.

Re: Finally got my ride hooked up.

your car looks nice... the wheels do look small though....but
like you said maybe it's because of the color...anyway...I give you guys alot of credit taking a really nice car and doing so much more to improve performance, looks, and in some cases even the saftey aspect...I thought I was a big deal because I put on clear corners and Piaa's...well I guess we have to start somewhere....Hmmmm maybe a set of Giovanna Genoa rims would look pretty good...thanks you got me going!!!!..2old4this
