Anyway, I don't race this car that much. So I'm not going to go ***** out like I normally would. I just like to have a little bit more bite behind the bark.
If you insist on an aftermarket intake, then Stillen would be my suggestion.

There are little things you can do here and there to help out, but nothing is really going to throw your head back.

it wasnt a neck snapping, vomit inducing, G-force type of pull, but there definitely is a tiny bit more pull from 2K-3K rpm, after that, its still the same, hopefully it'll be a different story after the MREV2 and 5/16 spacer

i would throw on a 5/16th spacer and go with a fujita intake - it gives you the best of both worlds IMO. Not a short ram and not a CAI kind of settles right between.

The most important thing you need to do after that is get a tune. Buy a u-tech or a little AFC unit. You will need to get your AFR back to normal. This is where a lot of people loose so much power. After that throw on a set of cams. That will help your up top like crazy!

No lie. I need an AFC. I have a friend with a utec that I can get, but I don't want to spend that kind of money at the moment.

isn't the G's 4th gear redline around 120-125mph, a quarter mile should be done by then; you shouldn't even have to touch 5th gear.

you don't have to be at the track to race a quarter mile

Just looked at my dyno sheets.
4th at redline was 116-118mph
5th at redline was 147mph

Agree...1/4mi done by that time in 4th.

forth gear ends at 110mph, fifth gear at 140mph... m3 has more power, z is lighter. i have a nismo intake cai and i FELT and SAW a difference. i ran my boy b4 in a 6spd z and he took me by about 4 cars. i put the intake on and ran next to him. the intake gave me about 4 cars. i have true cold air tho.
