is it just me or did everyone else not get embroidered floormats with their G? a 40k car and they couldn't even have a logo on the floormats? even neon's have embroidered mats. talk about cost cutting?

i've seen pics of some G's with stitched mats..so it might be just a 2007 change? either way, i just don't get it. to me, it makes some difference..as if the interior wasn't plain enough.

 

Yes, they did stop the infiniti logo on the mats.....some people lost them in 05.

You may be able to order a set for the 03-04 models if your interior is still the same color....

My 06' came with them... both front, both rear and even the trunk mat are embroidered... I did not even ask for that... it was just in my car.

 

wow, they must've swapped out my mats then. everyone asks me how come my mats are so plain like something's missing. sigh*

 

my 07 didnt even come with floor mats. uhh... was it suppose to?

 

My '05 as well, everything was embroidered with the logo...

Sorry to hear about your disappointment, I get that same feeling about how plain my interior is whenever I sit in the new G37

 

Well I went and looked at my original window sticker.

Under standard interior details it states "Carpeted front and rear floor mats".
I did apparently pay for the "Carpeted trunk mat" It was under the options box for 80 bucks. No where on the sticker did it says embroidered.

So, it apears everyone should have at least recieved floormats however, embroidered mats might have been a hit or miss thing becuase I recall it being stated on here a year or so ago that there were various manufacturing months in every year where the cars came without embroidered mats.

I can say I bought my 06 in Nov 05 and it was manufactured in Sep 05.

It would be nice to have it written somewhere that all cars shoud have come with this or that.. so you could go to the dealership and say.. Mats please!.

I know when I bought mine that the mud skirts were not even available for the 06 yet.

I stated earlier that they stopped in 05. That might have been for the sedan.

I know I read a thread a long time ago about several people complaining that there mats no longer had a logo embroidered on them.....

 

My 2005 6MT Coupe has the embroidered mats. I think 2005 was the last year they did that.
