Just turn the "Left, Right, Forward, Backward" postit upside down like Will Smith did in "Independence Day". Of course then you might turn "Left" when you meant to turn "Right".
I guess it all depends upon how your brain is wired. Back before there was such a thing as a PC, I'd get somtimes have a trainee data entry person complain that the "PgUp" and "PgDw" were backwards since "PgUp" moved the "Page" down and "PgDw" moved the "Page" up. They'd get use to it or they'd understand it when I'd tell them to think of the buttons meaning "Look Up" and "Look Down". Other trainees would find it as natural as breathing (as did I).

Those are good points, bigel and Suprhlk, When the cursor is used on the movable bar at right, you move the bar down to get the page to rise, to continue with the thread. That I can understand.

So how did the G end up 'bass ackwards'? I'd like the manumatic slot on the opposite side too. What we need to do is switch the whole quadrant 180 degrees? That would give us shifting in the logical directions, and manumatic on the 'near' side where it should be.
