I am sure VDC off, he wouldn't lose control if it was on.

Have insurance look at the car while it is in the shop, or you will prob get ripped off.

These guys dont understand what a pay out is! Have the car inspected by 3 body shops, go to expensive ones. Check in your state, because it california is illegal for them to make you go where they want, you pick. Take the car to dealerships because they charge the most, tell them your want everyting replaced...EVERYTHING. Then insurance takes the average of the 3 and cuts you a check. They will try and get you to settle or less but they are trying to screw you. Tell them you havent decided what body shop to go with and you wont be driving the car when its damaged. There ya go after market every.

I'm assuming your tires were bad. I haven't lost control in any rain or snow yet, and the car feels very confident in bad weather... You can't really assume that the dealer will change the tires. They usually don't, from personal experience.... I needed new tires on my G when I bought it, and previously my wife's Lexus needed new tires when we bought it too-straight from the Lexus dealer....
