Haven't really found a set of side moldings I like yet. Don't think the function is there as much as personal style preference.

The bsm's only seem "optional" untill you feel you really needed them. Keep this in mind...to correctly fix a door ding you need to fill it, paint it, remove the door handle and weather stripping, mask the car, and re-clearcoat the entire door. If a bsm can prevent that at least once you are better off.
With that said I don't think bsm's look good and I don't think they look bad...they just look normal....almost every car has them....it's almost like asking if winshield wipers look good on a car....

Ahhhh.... Al Bundy sold shoe's! Then was it Bradey that was an Architect? I don't know any TV insurence men, other than that guy on the simpsons: that bad sales man!
I personaly don't like the side moldings, but thats up to the person buying them. What color car guys?
