45k Service Maintenance

Is it highly recommended to go to the dealer? They want $400. They are also recommending a fuel induction cleaning service for $180 - I don't think I'll get it done there.

i went to the infiniti stealership in edmonton here. For the 48k service, they change the coolant, diff, tranny, engine fluids. I thought that sounded nice, but then i asked for the price.

upwards of $600-$800. . .

**** that. . .so i went to mopac and bought royal purple diff, tranny and engine oil. $183.50. . .

plus the $10 oil filter from infiniti.

Cool

I actually recommend having the fuel injection cleaned if you have never had it done before. i recently had mine cleaned and it fixed the problem of my car would cut off when I had it out for short trips unless I gave it some gas. Along with the cleaning I had a reflash done though so it's up to you.

Ask Nissan. Same parts, I think my 41K service was about $258. I pay $21 for oil change at Nissan (same oil they use on the 350Z).
