i was just on my way to school, and i was stopped at a red light.
i wasn't looking directly at the car next to me which was a honda accord v6, but i see the guys gf keep staring at my car.
when the light turns green, i normally drive off the way i usually do, and the accord just guns it and cuts me off.
so...he's probably doing 50 while i'm still in 2nd gear.
way to show off to your gf huh?
i would have smoked him if i wasn't in my break-in period...

I'm sure that it was not the case in your occurrence, but I think a lot of other car drivers, just want to make you floor that sucker, so they can see how it looks/sounds in action...
I mean, I can't imagine a dumb enough person that drives an Explorer or a Jetta that actually thinks he can take you.... A lot of people will try to irritate you for their own amusement.

I think that by adding that wing, you automatically add 50-60 hp right!? I really don't understand the "wing" thing! Nobody here will believe me, but I swear that a few weeks ago I saw an older style cavalier with a obnoxiously high wing made of wood. Now THAT'S a G killer if I've ever seen one...

So what's the deal with these aluminum wings anyway? I've seen so many ricers wannabees have them on their buds! Are they like cheap to get or in some circle they're actually considered as .... cool?

All I can say is, get used to it. It will continue as long as you have your G. People make "statements" everyday with me. Some ride along side, others do a "fly by" and get in front of me, and it's always when I'm not in the mood to be bothered. I did have a BMW kill last Saturday though. An Asian honey, in a 325, pulled up on me very hard. I moved over to let her go, but we both ended up side by side at the signal. The light changed, and she started off slowly. With nobody in front of us at this point, she started to mash the gas. I let her get up to my right front tire, then she tried to get in front of me. I don't think so. I floored it and slinged-shot right past her effortlessly. I couldn't believe how "slow" her car was.
I rarely make statements back, but I HAD to do this one.

racing girls is kinda fun. i was in my friends brand new C32, got hit up by a girl in an M3. they play games, and do those "stares". it's worthwhile. =D

Speaking about wings. I swa one of those double decker funny car wings on a Toyota Camry,with a coffee can for a muffler. To make it even funnier the guy was coming across the intersection, while I waited at the light. As he wnet by it sounded like a lawn mower with a straight pipe. Being the grown up kid I am I proceed to imitate the sound with my mouth in the car BRALALALAPALAP!!!!. I hear laughing next to me, there's two girls in a VW laughing there A#### off at me, I guess I forgot I had my windows down. Not all that bad though the passenger said I was cute and its good to see a guy with a sense of humor. Too bad the light turned before I could talk a little bit more.
