Coupe parking lights! simple question

I noticed a coupe today with the parking lights on while driving is that how the coupe comes?
I have the sedan and just wondering is there a way for me to put them things on while driving it looked real cool or do I have to make a modification?

Both cars have the same light controls. Only difference is if you have Premium Package, which gives you "Auto" lights.
So it is either the first or second detent that turns on only the "parking" lights. First, if you do not have Premium, second if you do.

I have the premium package, I will try the first and second then let you know if it worked.

And just so you know, in many states it's illegal to run with parking lights and not headlights. They are, after all, parking lights, not running lights.

Re: Coupe parking lights! simple question

just finished testing,
its the orange bulb nearby the xenon which is used as a hazard light on my g35 sedan, what I saw earlier is this same orange bulb on a coupe while the person was driving. the orange bulb was steady and not flashing I think I will need a modification to have the same effect as what the coupe has for that orange bulb.

basically on the coupe the orange bulb is on while driving.
then again on the sedan the orange bulb remains off while driving the sedan.

Are you sure about that? Which states? I've never heard of that before....

Texas too. I haven't looked up other ones. Just CA and TX, 'cuz those are the ones I've lived in. I'd guess at least half, though.

True, section 25109 of the CaVC states that "Any motor vehicle may be equipped with two white or amber running lamps mounted on the front, one at each side, which shall not be lighted during darkness except while the motor vehicle is parked."

Pretty funny though, since if you park your G, and leave the lights parking lights on, they go off automatically anyway (unless you leave the key in and in the on position).

Hmmm.... that doesn't make a lot of sense.

If it is dark and your headlights are on, then so are your running/parking lights. The way it is worded, it makes it seem that you may not have those lights on at all, unless parked.
