Scratched my head light housing

I now have 3 small scratches on my driver side headlamp that probably no one will notice but me. I would like to remove them if possible. Does anyone know of a product that would safely remove the scratches from clear plastic without harm? They are not very deep but are starting to bother me more and more. I guess I’m just being picky. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Check your nearest autoparts store for some plastic polish. I recommend Fine grade.

Meguiars and 3M both sell a plastic polish and plastic cleaner used for this purpose.....depending on how deep the scratch is you can probably clean it up pretty good...I have used Meguiars product many times with good success...in some cases you may want to lightly and I mean lightly sand the scratch with either 2000 or 1500 wet/dry sandpaper...but make sure you keep it wet with water or maybe even detailing spray so you clean up the scratch and do not make any more work than necessary to remove them....then polish and clean with the plastic cleaners....should look brand new....I would practice on a similar material before hitting any spot on your car......practice makes perfect...

Then again that is why I had the "Clear Bra" installed on the headlights.

Pep Boys carries Safecut. It wil lget most scuffs and light scratches. I've used it on my G headlight covers to remove grime. Also inside to get a scratch off the radio face (thanks dealer!)
