it sounds as if i was driving on a really bumpy road and the front end will vibrate
looked at the tires today and noticed that half of the tire (inside) has uneven wear

Sounds like the tire feathering is so bad that its making something else toward the front of the car vibrating. I had the same issue, get new tires along with an alignment and youll feel alot better.

You think? I replaced my OEMs with Toyo T1Rs AND an alignment and got the feathering drone within about 10k kms.

What DID help was a track day I did which wore down some of the feather and was significantly quieter afterwards. So all I need to do is lap hard for a couple of hours periodically!

Maybe your tires are not balanced correctly, that can cause vibrations and uneven wear.

did they put it on the lift and check for a bad wheel bearing? if not, they are lazy and dismissive, take it elsewhere. Youre going to hear most cupping, maybe feel it alittle. It would take some severe cupping to transmit that much vibration.
