I was looking to get a Remote starter system. But, I am getting mixed reviews.
Some say its great, and other say never do it, they just mess your car up in the long run?
What do you guys think?

Both of my parents cars have had the remote starter for about 3 years and it still works great. I had one on my accord for about 1 year and i had no problems. I would recommend going with the DEI or Python starter kits.

 

Isn't Python owned by DEI?

 

I had a Viper remote start/two-way paging system on my 00' accord. Worked beautifully especially on those cold mornings. Has an optional time limit shutoff feature. Just wouldn't recommend getting one if you have manual tranny.
