Fat chicks can break headlamps as well as they dent hoods. You could've gotten a room.

Maybe its just me, but I don't see that is posing an issue with safety (no recall needed), but I do feel it should be replaced since it is a design defect that could pose issues in the far future. The part in the picture just looks like the headlight trim, the actual reflector unit isn't attached to that trim. I could be wrong though.

I didn't have the issue *BUT....noticed that I wasn't really "running" my FOGS much, and after hearing about the issue (I heard about this last year 2006), I started running my fogs every day and it only took three days for the housings to crack!!!!
I took it in to my dealership to have an oil change and mentioned it to the service guy and he said they had issues with the 03' housings doing that, and they would order me a set of new ones.
When I picked up the car, it looked 10x different from the front, b/c I never knew how badly the SILVER plastic inside the housings had turned into a darker "grey" almost...it looks great now, and was totally FREE under my warranty.
A sneaky (and risky) way for me to get new housings, but the gamble paid off in full!! he-he!
Good Luck bro!!!

I just went outside and looked at my '04 Coupe and the headlights are also cracked as the pictures above. I will be calling my local dealer on Monday and see what I can get....I will keep all informed!

Mine ('04) are cracked, too. Exactly as in the pictures. I guess I'll have them fixed when I get my stereo head unit replaced (left speakers off/on).
Thanks for the heads up!

now that I looked at mines...they are cracked...I thought it was part of the design maybe to let the heat out or something...hmmmm

It's been a problem since day 1. Some have it some don't.
Usually was covered under warranty .... assuming you're still covered

Mine has cracked same as yours. I didn't even notice it. Ryan pointed it out for me. I've seen a number of other G's in my area that their lights have cracked in the same places.
