whats the correct way to support the g when raised?
i know the area to place the jack stands -the reinforced area for the scissor jacks near the pinchwelds.

id prefer not to use a puck or wood on the jack stand. ideally, a section of square steel tubing could be notched to accept the pinchweld and attached to a jack stand. in lieu of this, whats the better method?

use a flat cradle jack stand and set the cradle parallel to the pinchwelds as suggested here: https://g35driver.com/forums/showpos...12&postcount=8

or use a ratchet style jack stand that is notched for unibody pinchwelds? the cradle crosses over (without bending) the pinchwelds. there are quite a few nothced jack stands out there - here's one: http://www.shinnfuamerica.com/(S(ltp...?Type=0&ID=149

lol.. im not worried about getting it in the air. it's keeping the car in the air thats interesting.

I just use the unibody notched jack stands the metal does bend a bit but meh i've been doing it since i stared and the car stays up for me I really don't care if the cars metal bends a bit you never see it thats my .02
