This is a pretty common problem.....I had mine repaired back in 05, but lately I notice its starting to creak again.

If you do a search, someone with a sedan did a DYI for this problem....many were successful in stopping the noise, but a few said it came back as well.

In the 200lb club and no seat creak yet, but thats not to say it wont happen eventually.
Isnt there a TSB on this? Thought there was and something about replacing the seat to floor steel frame? But dont quote me on that.

My seat doesn't creak but like Joe603 I get a lot of squeek/rub sounds from the seatbelt rubbing on the shoulder of the seat...very annoying

Just keep it conditioned with leather conditioner. I use Zaino, but I'm pretty sure any would work.

I'm not going to say anything about not having a seat squeek, cause that will start it.

I've had this problem for over a year, and it was so annoying. Went to the dealer three times... first time they greased everything; second time they replaced the seat rails; third time they said nothing can be done about it. Finally, i found my own fix:

Get two heavy-duty spring lock washers and place them under the two bolts in the picture. Then, tighten both bolts fairly well (but not too tight, or you'll break the bolt right off). That should fix the creaks...

I have a creaky back - caused either by my seat (which doesn't creak) or falling into the creek running through Creeque Alley.

2 years old and no creaking here...actually, I have no rattles or squeaks anywhere in the cabin, guess I'm lucky.

As a side note, for those of you with the seatbelt squeaking on the seat, try putting a small piece of felt tape on the bottom of the plastc seatbelt guide where it meets the seat. Its completely out of sight being on the bottom if the guide and stops the squeak. Plus, the entire roll cost me less than $3 at the arts anf crafts store.
