This question seems simple, but I'd like advice please. It's nearly time for my coupe to have its 30K service (I'm at 29K). In a month or so it'll be off the road till spring. Do I bring it in and take care of this now (and then pretty much let it sit) or wait till I'm daily driving it again in April? I won't garage it completely all winter, but the driving will be short (on snow-free days only of course). Thoughts?

wait till you daily drive it again... it doesnt need to be done right at 30K

 

i payed $630 for that service at the dealership... so be preppared to shell out some cash.

 

i say...change your oil and filter just to get you through the winter, then have the 30k service when it starts to warm up.

It'd be perfect to have a nice 30k service done near the beginning of spring. It's like have a good ol' fresh start for upcoming year.
