Such a sweet car, but crappy looking side mirrors

Do any of you agree with this? I'm waiting for someone to make a M3 style side mirrors that has blinker lights for safety since we don't have any blinkers on the side of our car. I think it would look pretty sweet.

Agree. Love the car but doesn't mean it don't have free pass on criticism. I hate the plasticky part that holds the side view mirror out / swivel. Such a cheap looking part and not painted to color match unless you by chance are lucky to have OB and even then, not really the right black. Yuck.

i ono...

m3 style side mirrors are, to me, ricey as hell. especially since they're more common on civics and such... and the light will just look even more cheap. i like y'alls side mirrors just fine. m3 ones would make it look really awkward.

I didn't like the way the plastic was black either, so I had them painted to match the body color.

Am I the only one that DOESNT like blinker lights on the mirror? I mean remember back when nobody had them? I just dislike them a whole lot.

Where and how much for the paint job? I hate the way the black is fading on my LR coupe. I just got a free sample of 303 in the mail yesterday, gonna give that a try to see if I can "liven up" the dull/scratchy looking black.

MrCynical--you’re not the only one who dislikes the turn signals in the side mirrors. When I first thought about it, I thought they’d be cool, but now they make me think of old people’s cars and huge SUV’s that you can’t see around. Might as well add some curb feelers too. But that’s just my opinion…

You're joking right? I think the mirrors are styled beautifully on this car. They're one of the nicest parts.

Re: Such a sweet car, but crappy looking side mirrors

Why is there always a want to add unnecessary things to cars that dont need them? What function (other than wanting to look like a BMW or Mercedes) do they serve? Turn signal mirrors, vertical doors, ricer wings, chrome door handles, etc all things I've seen done to G's. Everyone is entitled to their own custom taste (heck, I even have clear corners) but blinker mirrors..... ugg.. The car is a sculpted, moving piece of art. Its probably the most attractive vehicle in its price range. Just leave her alone

Just my opinion

Re: Such a sweet car, but crappy looking side mirrors

The stock mirrors are sweet IMO. There are JDM signals with the blinkers on already for the sedan, not sure about the coupe... Remember this car during SoCal meet? Talk to the owner of the shop, I believe Lin knows him.

NO! You're not the only one -- I absolutely HATE blinkers on the mirrors and the stupid mid-fender mounted blinker. If this car had them I would not have bought the car.

Re: Such a sweet car, but crappy looking side mirrors

I agree with leaving the car as is....thats why I opted for the factory aero package. BUT!!!! one of the few mods that I will be doing (not including under the hood) is going to be the side view mirrors, tints and my side markers.

I love the look of the side view mirrors, Im just waiting for some JDM to come out for the coupe.
