How in the world can you diagnose that by reading the single sentence he posted? Don't tell him to replace the airbag if you haven't a clue why the light is on. It could be as simple as an unplugged harness. OP, read THIS thread and try the reset procedure and see if the SRS light stays on. If so, inspect all harnesses and retry. If it still stays on, take it to the dealer to diagnose.

Wait before you go and reset the system, did you recently have anykind of work done near the dash board, center console, radio? If so...then go ahead and reset but if not, I would take it to the dealer and have them run a diagnostic. Resetting the system when there really is a malfunction will cause the airbags not to deploy.

If the fault still exists after resetting, the SRS light will come back on immediately. If you go through the procedure Riley explains to put it in diagnostic mode, you should be able to determine if a fault exists and what that fault is.

go crash into a wall, if the bag deploys the system is ok. if not, then take it to the dealer for a diagnose.
