2000 540i 6speed with at least $6,000 worth of maintanance needed and came home with this:

It's a 2004 with premium package 5AT with 35K miles. I chose this because I thought the automatic's upshifts were very quick (I've driven BMW's steptronics before for a rental vehicle, I think this one beats it in upshift speed), I don't miss rowing my own gears but I did find myself reaching for a clutch when coming to a stop at times. All of the G manuals I drove had a clattery clutch and I couldn't stand the vibration from the shifter and shifter area. "4" on the transmission indicator actually means "4", "2" actually means to and so forth, love it though I only used it once and probably will be a rare occassion. That exhaust note is beautiful and the stares is something I'm getting used to! The only thing I plan on doing is the OEM 19"s and some tints and 06-07 projectors, nothing else. Still has the balance of bumper-to-bumper warranty and alot left on the powertrain and emissions.
