Hey, Well I am looking to buy a G but would like to do it the fun way. Build it myself. Not the whole thing but some of it. I would like a G without:
Tires/wheels
Bose center consol(sp)/head unit
bumpers
sideskirts
lights
NO engine
Where could I find one like this? I have been looking and asking but no one has had one for sale?
or...
Should I buy one that needs repairs(like in an accident but was not totalled)? I will be keeping it until it dies most likely. But would it be okay to buy one and just swap out the motor? Or is it still risky. Would my insurance change any, I dont see why it would?

I dont exactly know how reliable this method is, I just found this site by browsing around one day and it was really interesting. They sell salvage cars and cars that have been leased that have wrecked. They arent selling the cars actually, its more like, you tell them what you are willing to pay and they go to the auction and bid for you with your offer. Your not garunteed to win anything, but from they say your chances are high. Wouldnt hurt to try it if you are interested in something you like.
