Re: Gas Milage

I do a fair mix of highway and city driving and for the life of my car I average about 18.2 MPG. I don't know how far I can go on a tank though b/c I never (or at least try not to) let it get down past 1/4 tank.

Re: Gas Milage

I just completed a trip from DC to AC and back, so mostly highway, and some local driving on 40. I was able to get 24 mpg. I've definitely noticed an improvement now that my car has over 2K miles versus when it was new.

Re: Gas Milage

I'm still on my first tank of gas since receiving delivery and it looks like I'll only get 300 miles. All city driving. I've read this can inprove as the engine breaks in. How much it will improve remains to be seen.

Re: Gas Milage

The only time I get above 20 mpg is on the hwy. I get about 17-18 mpg on pure stop and go city driving.

Re: Gas Milage

I've gotten at least 330 miles on a tank of gas, and the low fuel light still didn't light up. (hopefully it works, as the needle was close to the E)

When I picked up the car, the trip computer said 7 miles per gallon. It now says 18.4

I don't drive very easy either. I've run the engine close to redline more times than I want to remember. It's not even broken in yet *sob*

Re: Gas Milage

5K miles in and I'm still getting only 15-16 mpg in [mostly] city driving and I am not constantly hard on the throttle.

Re: Gas Milage

My Coupe is about the same as fldrummer's: about 15mpg's (converted to US gallons) in cold weather, winter driving in the city, and about about 20 in the summer, city driving, and about 25-26 steady speed on the hwy.
Not great mileage, but those are 'fun' miles......hmmmmmm
