Damn It!!!!.

Stupid car wash place today curbed my front rim. I was so freakin pissed. I specifically told them not to run it through the rollers, I even paid extra and yet they still moved it through and rubbed my front driver side wheel. I immediately noticed it after they brought it to the front. I even went to the back when I saw it rollin foward and ask what the Fvck they were doing. I pointed it out and the dude tried to deny it. Then I told him that I didn't want to talk to him and to bring the manager. He walked away and didn't tell him anything. SO I had to go into the office and call the manager out. After a back and fourth with the manager, I pointed out that there was still fresh yellow and red paint on the wheel from their machine. Then the manager took the dude to the back and yelled at him, then came back and said they would take care of it.

I had him put it in writing on the company paper and staple his car and information on the paper. So now I need to know where to go to get the wheels fixed. Its not that bad but noticable by me.

Sorry to hear that happened, but I NEVER in my life would ever let anyone else other than me, wash my car. If you want it done right, do it yourself.

If they had any ounce of competence, they wouldn't be working at a car wash! Atleast they're willing to repair your wheel.

I would never let anyone wash my car. Do everything by hand myself.
At the dealership, I go in there and make sure they don't give me a "complimentary" wash.

Ok so you took your car to an old cheapo car wash place where they roll every car through rollers to wash your car, and now you're pissed because they messed up your rim. And you all are blaming and cursing at the dude there who was just doing his job so they could make a decent living.

If the car doesn't go through the rollers, how are they going to wash ur car? The dude did nothing wrong. He just went through the normal routine at his job which is to put cars through rollers for a wash. If you want your car well-taken cared of, take it to a detailer, not an old cheapo car wash.

To the person who says and i quote "If they had any ounce of competence, they wouldn't be working at a car wash! Atleast they're willing to repair your wheel."

So it's their fault that they end up working at a car wash place? Sorry, not everyone was born as talented as you to be able to work in an air-conditioned office, making mad dollars and drive G35. So what, they wash cars for a living. Are they robbing, stealing, or killing? Why do have to put them down by saying they have no competence? And how do you know they have no competence?

I guess you also look down on ppl who pick up your trash every week, people who work in the sewers, people who push carts at the grocery store, people who pick fruits, etc. You should watch Dirty Jobs for once in your life so you can start to appreciate the people who take on the jobs that no one else wants to make your civilized life possible.

Man, your story is all too familiar with me. I hate going to car washes for this very reason. There's always a tradeoff for the convenience. I always find new damage every time I took it there, so no more. Plus, when u make a claim right there, they'll deny it to the bitter end. It's all good and all to appreciate people's "dirty jobs," that help our way of life but cmon, he even paid them extra to wash it off the rollers. That IS an option at every car wash. They gotta at least follow specific instructions that were stated before the wash.

Yo slim shady, he wasnt cutting anyone down. He is upset at the fact that they did exactly what he told them not to do. He has every right to be pissed off and should be. Maybe you should read through the story a couple more times or maybe see it from his side. Im pretty sure you would be upset too. WERD dawg....

same thing happened to me in my previous car. Front wheel got curbed to hell! I actually took my g to this new infiniti dealer for service not too long ago and they actually drove the car to the gas station and rolled the car into the car wash. No damage was done but I'm never going back to that dealership ever.

There are 2 easy fixes for this problem.
1) Never use auto car washes.
2) Wash your car by hand or go to a hand wash.

Didn't they fill out the job app?

I wasn't born talented...it was acquired!

They have a pretty simple job of which many times they still don't get right (as is the case here). I'm not putting them down; they're putting themselves down!
