always wash your own car, cause if you **** it up then you can get pissed off at yourself...instead of watchin some @ss **** up your rims or whatever

I don't want to sound heartless but if you let a nice car go to a car wash, you deserve whatever happens. If you really are that **** about your car (as I sure as hell am) you would NEVER NEVER NEVER let a car wash place touch your car.

dude same thing happened to me. i was wondering how i got these slight curb rashes on my front left rim on the outter lip. no way i couldve done that. then it hit me after 4 or 5 car washes. it came from the rail of the pully system of their carwash. I WAS PISSED after being assured by the guy that they have rubber on the rails and its 13" wide, it'll be ok, man i was pissed but did nothing about it. i mean, its been 4-7 times i've gotten my car washed there and i never pointed it out so they have 'plausible deniability'? so i was like f* it, its minor and already done, wont win if i argue it, so f it.

but same them happend to me at firestone. i paid them to fix a flat > they tried to hussle me on a new tire > i refused > technician messed up my rim > they have to replace it = he got fired for trying to cover the mistake up. bad bad technician. and now, one more month to go before i get my new rim.

^^^thats also true..if you are very **** about your car, shouldve realized earlier about what may happen, but then again, you did tell them and paid extra money, so you have a right to be pissed. i feel you. next time go to the 100% hand car washes, meaning, go to one that puts your car in a ghetto garage and washes it in there instead of those quuick 15 min washes that actually drive through a car wash.

this may prevent the problem, but certainly doesn't fix it.

That sucks, best advice, if it hasn't been said yet. Go to the dealer, and ask them who they use for this. They will almost always have someone they take their cars to. Good luck with it,and save yourself the time when you do it,and go to the service area, the sales people are usually clueless when you ask them this, no offense to any on here, but most only worry about the sale, after that you are on your own.
