How to stop the Brake squealing?!?!

searched the thread but no clear answer....

I have a 2003 brembo brake system, recently changed brakes to stoptech rotors and oem pads.....

i think after installing the pads it started squealing?

Is project mu b-force the best to stop the squealing or ??

thanks!

OEM Pads are dusty and noisy...

B-Force are aggressive pads, will still dust and be noisy...

Hawk HPS are a more Quieter pad compound and less brake dust...

Did you use enough brake grease in between the pad and shim, and on the back of the shim? The service manual also calls for a bit of grease on the edges of the pads as well.

I used more than enough grease. I actually took out the passenger ones last week and put on a diff. brake grease on it and it's better but it still squeaks every now and then.
I'm also using 2 shims on each pad, the oem one and the one that came with the Hawk pads...not too sure if it's a bad thing but there's enough grease on them. The driver's side doesn't squeak @ all.
