Window up/down not working -_- when you close/open the door

I checked the contact sensor.. not at fault.. but the damn window doesnt go up or down anymore ._. I rollt he windows up down by remote before opening and closing (thank god to KPTech for window mod) to keep the weather seal from ripping but anyone know if there is a reset to this? I read about the window motor reset button but will that fix this?

Try resetting... if that doesnt work, you may need a new motor?

So I have been reading all these posts, and I have an 03 coupe, and if I bring my window up with auto it rolls back down third of a way and won stay up. This started shortly after dealer replaced my window that was broken when someone tried to brake in. It also does not roll down when the door is opened and closed. I read about resetting the motor, but are they any other possibles about this, like a recall?
Thank you in advance

Hello to you all, I had the same problem on my passenger door window as well, what the problem is the motor and by reseting it wont help. you have to get the motor replaced and there no recall on this problem but there should be because it happening to more g's and z's. but the one good thing about it is that infiniti well cover it casue it manufactory defect.

So you said they will cover the defect?
Or did you pay for it, how much is the motor?

Does the one touch up feature still work?

If the anti pinch system has lost its programming I don't believe it will drop the windows when you open/close the door.

To reprogram the anti pinch system you do something pretty simple - I believe its lower the windows all the way, then raise the windows all the way, holding the "UP" button for at least 3 seconds after the window has fullyl closed, then repeat the whole thing once.

^ yes its the anti pinch feature..

I cleaned the window guide railes and re-lubed the seals and now it works normally - The motor reset didnt do anything (like I thought). The window reset is step 1 of diag when the window auto up/down isnt working and the motor isnt making any weird noises..

In the end I think it was just all the crap from the window rolling up and down.. Oh and I ended up ripping the weather seal lol.. eventually I closed the door normally and forgot about it -__- the weather seal was $20 something lol

yes I am in warranty but my car is a widebody lambo midnight blue g35 lol its the kinda car that I want to take to the dealer for minor problems I can easily do myself..
