I'm at about 150 miles and my Brembos are squeeling at very low speed right before I stop. 0-5 mph. Are they just wet? It has been raining a lot in so. cal and I was away on bus. travel for 4 days so the car has not been driven much. Only thing is the noise is getting louder! HELP!!!

Re: Squeeling Brembos?
its normal for brakes to squeel at very low speeds, just as long as they dont squeal for the entire time that you are braking. They could be wet as you said, but brakes tend to dry up pretty quickly.....plus they are brand new so i doubt it would be the accumulated rust on the rotor from the wetness...i dont have any other advice though, i guess just keep using them and if you cant bear it anymore just take it to the dealership since its under warranty

Mine do the same thing. They work so well, don't worry about the noise. It's normal. My brembo's do something more peculiar. The first use in the morning, at the end of my driveway, they give me the anti-lock brake activation shudder, then they work normally till again the next morning. No computer warning codes.

Re: Squeeling Brembos?
I think what you are experiening is the ABS calibrating. Mine does that too and so did my previous car.

Re: Squeeling Brembos?
Same thing here. My car is also So Cal and the recent moisture seems to have made it worse. But the sound isn't like a squeel similiar what you here when the pad's are worn. It's like a soft groaning noise which only seems to happen when the brakes are cold in the morning. Always during low speed stops and light pedal pressure. I am concerned I have damaged the pads from a few California freeway panic stops. Yikes not my baby!

Re: Squeeling Brembos?
First 500 miles or so I noticed the same squeal on easy braking first thing in the AM and after alot of stop and go driving. I now have 1,200 miles and they seem to have broken in very nicely. Be patient and avoid hard stopping (where possible)...they're great brakes. Enjoy!

Re: Squeeling Brembos?
One of the sales poeple told me that the brembo system that is on the G35 is the same one on the Ferrari Modena. Seems far fetched but I'm still wondering if it's true. Anyone heard any "Sales Truth" along the sames lines?

Re: Squeeling Brembos?
